Recycling Awareness

photo of recycling a red cell phoneNowadays everyone has a phone or any piece of technology, but what do people do after they have used up the piece of technology of if something happened to ir that it stopped functioning? Most people throw it in the trash or if they are tech wise they may just reuse some of the parts for something else. There are few individuals who can do this and most people are not aware of the fact they have to recycle their pieces of technology.  Now, it is time to start taking better care of our environment and recycle.

Simple steps before you recycle

The most important thing to remember before you recycle is to make sure all your important personal and professional data you wish to keep is stored or backed up in a pc. If you don’t want to keep any data then you can delete it Also, don’t forget to remove your SIM and memory cards before dropping your phone into a recycling point.

Packaging and user guides can be recycled at your local recycling scheme. In European countries there is a crossed-out wheeled-bin symbol on  product, literature, or packaging. The symbol means that all the electrical and electronic products, batteries, and accumulators must be taken to separate collection at the end of their working life.

What happens to your phone after being recycling?

The valuable material inside your phone will live on in something new.

Samsung placed a giant model of its previous mobile  Samsung Messenger phone in Chicago, US. Samsung placed it at Fidelity Plaza Chicago with cooperation of  Cricket. This phone is the biggest mobile phone of the world. It is 11 x 15 feet in size.

It's fully working model of messenger mobile phone and you can send messages, receive calls and could use all other features of it like a normal mobile phone.

With this phone Samsung broke the world record of Sony Ericsson in biggest phone category. In year 2007, Sony Ericsson  set a record by the launch of 2.5 x 1.14 m mobile phone model of their W850i but Samsung messenger is approximately 5 times bigger in size as compare to that one.

People and courtesy

a little monster with a mean face

When we are little we are raised to say "thank you" and "please" whenever we need something or are given something. Even as adults we tell our children to say those magic words, but how much of this do we actually follow?  Many would say that we do not do this as often as we should. There have been people who are rude most of the time. There are reasons why a person is rude to other people. The most common reason why people are rude is because they have had a bad day at work or because someone has been rude to them initially.

What about those people who are just plain out rude? Who has ever gone to a restaurant and see people hogging a table doing things such as their bills when there are other people waiting for the tables to clear up? What can we say about them? The only explanation is that they are too busy to do their bills at any other time of the day. But what if that person is using up a table of four when its only one individual? Either they are being rude or are not concious that there are other people who are hungry and who also have a busy life. A better solution to that is for them to get a table for two.

What can be done to avoid being rude to a rude person is:

Avoid dealing with vulgar people where possible.

If you cannot avoid them take charge of conversations. You need to ensure you remain strong and unaffected by their manner.

Look beyond their words to the real message they are trying to convey.

We all have a bad day now and again maybe you just bumped into them while they were stuck at a low point.
